Microsoft Kin Two Gets the Teardown Treatment

Chipworks and iFixit teamed up to take a look beneath the Kin Two’s black and lime exterior, finding some things that were expected, like the NVIDIA Tegra APX2600 processor, and some, like a Sony image sensor, that were, well, not.

The full teardowns include a few interesting bits—that 8MP Sony image sensor, for example, only takes up an impossibly small 1.4 microns. Parts from Samsung, Qualcomm, Hynix, and Texas Instruments also make appearances.
