Media2Go, Microsoft’s new operating system for personal video players, isn’t called Media2Go anymore. From now on the software will be known as Portable Media Center. Now we know it’s tough to let go of the old name that we had all gotten so attached to, but if it’s any consolation, the first Portable Media Centers should start appearing from ViewSonic, Creative, iRiver, Samsung, and Sanyo sometime in the second half of next year.
