Jeremy Scott, the new head designer of Italian fashion house Moschino, debuted his Fall 2014 runway collection Thursday night at Milan Fashion week. Critics praised the line as “absorbent, yellow and porous.”*
*I don’t think anybody actually said this. What critics did call Scott’s collection was “ingenious,” “garish” and “tongue-in-cheek” – a brash embrace of trash consumer culture that drew inspiration not just from Spongebob, but candy wrappers and, uncomfortably enough, McDonald’s uniforms.
