Motorola’s MPx220 Smartphone coming in February

It’s pretty much an open secret that this February Motorola is planning to introduce the MPx220, an updated version of their MPx200 Smartphone that’s supposed to run the 2003 version of the Smartphone operating system and have both Bluetooth and a built-in digital camera, three features which the MPx200 currently lacks. But what we didn’t know was that it is also supposed to support AT&T Wireless’ new high-speed EDGE data network. This explains why they’re giving them away on Amazon for free with service activation — they’ve gotta get rid of all the old phones before the MPx220 arrives. Thanks to reader Thom Kozik for getting us the scoop on this.
