A small but handy update: you can now search Netflix’s database from the PS3’s Netflix app. Anyone who’s run to the computer just to add a film to their Instant Queue knows how handy this is. To the rest of you…well, we don’t care what you think. There, we said it, and frankly we feel a lot better now with that out there. [Joystiq]
UPDATE: As many commenters have pointed out, the PS3 already had a Netflix search option. Evidently Joystiq’s intel was either incorrect or somewhat misconstrued.
UPDATE 2: It’s looking like this may have been some sort of random assigned beta trial.
