News Corp's kinda much anticipated iPad-only newspaper, The Daily, will launch next Wednesday, according to NYT's Jeremy Peters. Apparently the announcement will come at an event at the Guggenheim museum in New York, and Peters says Apple's VP of Internet Services, Eddy Cue, will be on hand. Hopefully that means The Daily will bring iTunes subscription billing for other tablet publications along with it, as has been rumored. Anyway, more to read! As if there wasn't enough already. Oh, thank God—I was getting nervous. Currently I'm only able to access News Corp-generated information through their newspapers, magazines, book publishers, cable networks, broadcast networks, satellite networks, internet media, and film studios. Now that their iPad daily is finally here, maybe they'll finally be able to establish a public presence!
/Don't get me wrong, Rupert Murdoch is a business genius and deserves all the success he's had, but I just get really, really nervous when a single entity controls such a large portion of information, delivered across so many different mediums.
