David Carnoy (he of tech journalism’s Worst Editor Photograph) previews the Nike MP3Run, a new flash-memory player (with a measly 256MB of storage) that stands out by incorporating a separate shoe-mounted Bluetooth pedometer to accurately track your stride. As you train, pressing a button on the MP3Run will cause a synthesized voice to tell you how far you’ve run and at what pace, and when you’ve finished up, the unit connects to your PC and uploads all your session stats. Expect prices of around $300 when it launches in late July. (Thanks, Robert!)
