AT&T and T-Mobile Share Networks to Keep New York and New Jersey Covered After Sandy

AT&T and T-Mobile have agreed to share their GSM and 3G networks so that they can provide customers in New York and New Jersey better service in the face of spotty coverage and outages following Hurricane Sandy. Customers on each carrier won’t be charged roaming fees when attached to the network of the other—until everything is back up and running, anyway. Isn’t it nice that when push comes to shove we can all get along? [BusinessWire via Engadget]
