Nokia's Sea Ray Windows Phone to Be Known as N800?

A pair of seemingly official adverts for Nokia's first Windows Phone handset have been discovered, which give the rumored Sea Ray the extremely dull new product name Nokia N800. And we get to see the thing, too.

The supposed Nokia 800 is pictured atop a WP7 style coloured tiled background, showing an oddly curved handset with a colourful or possibly even shiny and metallic surround. It's not the ugliest phone there's ever been, but then it doesn't exactly set groins on fire, either. It's certainly disappointing enough to be a Microsoft/Nokia smartphone production.

And yes, there has already been a Nokia N800. Which undermines the validity of these leaks somewhat, we must say. [Pocketnow]

this is a Gizmodo article on the Nokia N9: [gizmodo.com]

In this piece they have nothing but praise for the Nokia N9's appearance, an opinion which is shared on all of the handful of article they have written.

Suddenly, because it has MS involved, it seems it's time to bring out the snark and pessimism.

Engadget are just as bad, if not worse on this front. Does anyone know of a tech site with writers that at least try to maintain some integrity and even-handedness, rather than flame baiting for ad revenue?
