At San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige casually mentioned that Marvel Studios has a big show coming to Disney+ later this year called VisionQuest, but didn’t show anything from it. With the show coming months before Avengers: Doomsday, one assumed a first look or trailer was imminent and, apparently, it was. It just came after the event and in the unexpected form of two Funko Pops.
This week, ahead of any sort of official trailer or images, Funko revealed our first official look at VisionQuest. One is Pop of Vision, played by Paul Bettany, and the other is a Pop of Ultron, played by James Spader. Each is split down the middle with a human version on one side and the hero version on the other. Here are some closer images.

So, clearly, we have a lot of questions here. Does the show portray these characters in this half-and-half manner? Or is this just a clever way to show that these two advanced AI programs, both born out of Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S., can take a new form on the show? We don’t know. At least we know James Spader has a beard, though.
Fans also noticed that if you head to Amazon to preorder either of them, Funko numbered the box for Vision as 1650 and Ultron as 1652. Who is 1651, do we think? Is Wanda set to make her reappearance in the show? Or is it, maybe, just the beetroot and green Vision?
We don’t know, but we imagine we won’t wait long to find out. Marvel Studios will be part of a big presentation at the D23 Expo on August 14, and if we don’t have a trailer by then, we’ll definitely get it then.
