One such model is the “DVD-LX95,” a portable DVD player that will set you back about 80,000 yen. You will see a number of improvements, such as a TV tuner, FM transmitter (which is nice when you think about using the thing in the car), media file support (including MPEG-4), up to 12 hour battery life, and SD card slot. The 9 inch screen should be plenty for most DVD playing purposes.
