Continuing with the Panasonic products, here is their new MP3/CD player called the “SL-CT582V.” It may seem like everyone has moved on to either hard drive players (ala iPod) or flash players (ala iRiver), leaving MP3/CD players in a distant third. Nevertheless, there’s probably still a market for these CD players out there. While this isn’t really grounds for comparison, a battery life of up to 141 hours on this particular unit makes the ~20 hour battery life of your average hard drive player a bit harder to swallow.
