The folks at iFixit just went all Saw on the newly available Kickstarter edition of the Pebble smartwatch. Despite its lack of screws, the gadget mechanics were able to pry the e-paper display watch open and check out its guts.
From a DIY repair point-of-view, the verdict isn’t good: You cannot replace anything on the Pebble because all of the the LEDs, buttons, and the Bluetooth 2.1 radio are attached to the same ribbon cable. Oh well. At least it’s still pretty inside! [iFixit]
