Yes, cellphones really are everywhere, but that said, you still have to be surprised when a football player uses one in the middle of an NFL game:
New Orleans Pro Bowl receiver Joe Horn celebrated his second touchdown against the New York Giants on Sunday by making a cell-phone call in the end zone. After a 13-yard scoring reception in the second quarter, Horn ducked behind the goal post and took a cell phone from teammate Michael Lewis, who had pulled the phone from beneath the padding around the post. Horn punched in numbers, put the phone to his ear and was speaking into it. Horn’s surprising action cost the Saints 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct on the ensuing kickoff.
Once again, we have only one question: who could he possibly have been calling?
