Designer Nick Barclay’s Circle Movies poster series takes a very minimalist approach to classic films. And yet, even rendered in only circles, the films are still instantly recognizable.
We asked Barclay, “Why circles?” and he told us:
I chose circles because after watching interstellar me and a friend were talking about 2001 a space odyssey and how a circle could be a main character. So that got me thinking and I wanted to see if I could break films down and represent them just by using circles.
The more I researched it the more I realized that there were so many films that I could use.
