Robotic walking chair

Japanese researchers at Waseda University and manufacturer Tmsuk have built a prototype two-legged robotic walking chair which can carry a person and walk up and down stairs. Sort of reminds us of the iBot 3000, that motorized wheelchair invented by Dean Kamen (i.e. Mr. Segway) that can also climb up and down stairs. Though without the wheels, obviously. Anyway, a working model of the WL-16 could hit the market within a few years.
