Prog rockers Coheed and Cambria have created a whole science fiction mythology to go with their concept albums. The band’s name refers to the heroes of its science fiction story, sketched out in a series of graphic novels called Armory Wars and in albums with titles like Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Volume 2: No World For Tomorrow. But lead singer Claudio Sanchez says he uses real-life experiences (like the band’s drummer leaving) in the story as well. [St. Louis Post-Dispatch]
