Researchers at Cornell’s Creative Machines Lab thought it would be entertaining to allow Cleverbot — a program that’s designed to imitate and accurately respond to human voices — to have a conversation with itself.
After a few semi-hostile remarks, things quickly took a turn for the verbal diarrhea. Folks, this is why the machines will never rise. They’ll be too busy screaming about unicorns and navel gazing like Philosophy 101 students.
