Director Rian Johnson has been filming Star Wars Episode VIII for a few weeks now, but most of the work has been conducted behind closed doors. That changed recently—the production has shifted to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Outside filming means spy photos and in them, we get our first look at some new aliens and ships.

Obviously we have no context for who these aliens are, or where they are, but it seems like they’re dressed pretty well. Maybe they’re going out for the evening? Something like this from Revenge of the Sith?
