As hinted last month, Sharp officially announced its latest Linux-powered PDA, the Zaurus SL-6000. Like Sharp’s earlier line of SL-5600 handhelds, the SL-6000 slides open to reveal a mini-keyboard. There will actually be three versions of the handheld, one with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, one with just WiFi, and one with no wireless capabilties at all, and all three models will have 400MHz processors, 64MB of RAM, 64MB of Flash ROM, and large, 4-inch, 640×480 resolution screens that can switch from landscape to portrait mode. Should be out here sometime early next year.
