Okay, so a lot of the CG animals we’ve seen in the live-action Jungle Book movie venture a bit too far into the uncanny valley (uncanny jungle?), but Scarlett Johansson’s Kaa is looking great in this extended look at the movie, right down to the trippy hypnotic eyeballs.

This new trailer, released by Moviefone, features an extended cut of Mowgli’s first encounter with Kaa as she uses her hypnotic powers to delve into the murder of his father at the hands of Shere Khan. Oh, and Lupita Nyong’o telling you how marvelous it would be if you went and saw this movie in IMAX. As you do.

It’s a pretty extensive look at the movie, and probably the most “serious” the marketing has gotten so far—not a single orchestrated rendition of “Bare Necessities” to be found. The vast majority of these wonderfully-rendered CG animals still creep us the hell out, though.
The Jungle Book hits theaters April 15th.
