The Doctor has found his way into a handful of video games, but this inspired mashup, posted by redditor Mr_Billo on behalf of a friend with no Internet, has real promise. If Nintendo could ever get behind it, a Mario-inspired Doctor Who side scroller would be tops.
This particular bit of fan art looks like it was crafted from those iron-on plastic beads. Boo, the ghost who only moves when you’re not looking at him, is the perfect analogue to Doctor Who’s weeping angels, and I love the TARDIS as Ten’s warp pipe. Reddit has already come up with the perfect name for this imaginary video game: Doctor Boo.
