To compliment its already well-known multi-room music systems, Sonos has added what it’s calling the ZonePlayer ZP80. The new product connects to any amplified audio device through the analog or digital outputs, allowing that device to instantly become part of the wireless, multi-room system. Voila and presto. It also includes auto-sensing line-in connectors that can encode any line-in source digitally, letting you connect an external audio source (like an MP3 player or satellite radio system). Ships this Spring for $349.

The company also announced a software upgrade to 1.3, giving you support for Audible.com and Apple Computer s Lossless codec, plus other enhancements like full-screen album art and detailed track information.
