Chronicle director Josh Trank will be directing one of the stand-alone Star Wars movies, and it won’t be the first time he has played with lightsabers on film. In 2007, Trank made this short film about Star Wars-inspired mayhem breaking out at a party.

Like Chronicle, Stabbing at Leia’s is a found footage endeavor, though it’s more a lark than a complete story. Still, it’s nice to see that Trank’s affection for Star Wars was already seeping into his personal projects years ago.
