T-Pain premiered this song over at the Fader yesterday. He says its one of 127 songs he already has recorded off his forthcoming album, and it's an autotune-free, heartfelt beauty.

If you're not convinced by Teddy Bend Her Ass Down's ability without autotune, check out his NPR Tiny Desk concert. It's excellent. After a few relatively quiet years, he's coming back, in a different, stripped down way. And it's perfect. [Fader, SoundCloud]

Holy shit. I've always enjoyed T-Pain's work musically, and every once in awhile a song of his has some deeper lyrics (cf. "Suicide" and "Time Machine"), but this... Well. I'm interested to see how he progresses and what his next album is like.
