The Commodore name still just about lives on, even though the original owners have long since left the factory. The latest product to carry the once-great computing name is the PC64—an all-in-one Atom PC in a C64 case.

Inside the authentically beige case is (or hopefully will be) a standard collection of PC parts, with an Intel Atom 525 processor, NVIDIA’s Ion2 graphics handler, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1TB hard drive and, to really blow the minds of people who remember the C64 launching in 1982, the option of a Blu-ray drive for data rather than a cassette tape player.
