The Anti-Sam Fisher Surveillance Camera

I was playing the Splinter Cell: Conviction demo after turning my Xbox on for the first time in a month, and thought, “man, it’s easy to stealthily snap necks.” JETProtect‘s CS300K Long Range Counter Surveillance Camera would’ve gotten me killed.

That’s ’cause the CS300K, combined with their surDET system, turns the same the phenomenon that causes red eye against you—but with a range of hundreds of meters, so it spots other cameras, scopes, binoculars and human eyeballs gawking at it. In other words, if you just look at the camera, you’re already busted. I’d still try to snap a bunch of necks on the way down, though. [Jet Protect via gizmag via Dvice]
