By now we’ve all seen the video footage of Saddam Hussein being examined by a physician after his capture Saturday evening, but the New York Times wonders,
So how did the United States military pull it off? That is, not how did they make that we-got-him video ricochet around the world, but how did they get the shot? Who invaded, with camera, not only Mr. Hussein’s spider-hole existence, but also his private lice check?
Turns out the answer is a special combat camera crew carrying $4,000 Sony PD 150 digital video camcorders like the one pictured at right.
