Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: The Sword of Destiny comes to Netflix February 26. The first trailer showcased the sequel’s stunning visuals and acrobatic action scenes; this new clip does the same, but it also offers up more hints about the plot and characters.
We get a look at the main holdover from 2000’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Yu Shu-Lien (Michelle Yeoh), channeling Obi-Wan (“listen with your mind”) as she trains a young swordswoman, who it seems will later turn against her. And there’s also a battle between Donnie Yen and Harry Shum, Jr. that takes place on an ice-covered lake, which looks amazing.
But considering that The Sword of Destiny is directed by Yuen Woo-ping—one of the top fight choreographers ever to work in martial arts cinema—he did the Matrix trilogy and the original Crouching Tiger—it’s a safe bet that the action scenes throughout will be nothing short of spectacular.
