Animation artist Alisa Stern has worked with puppets and stop-motion, and she created a very brief animated segment with her Doctor Puppet. But far more charming are her still photos with the puppet, which she’s taken all around the city. It’s an unusually quiet vacation for the Doctor, but New York isn’t as filled with extraterrestrials as London and Cardiff tend to be.
