No, we weren’t joking. CBS is actually rebooting MacGyver and the first trailer has been released to prove it. Lucas Till (X-Men: Apocalypse) stars as the extremely resourceful hero, who this series will follow in his younger years. Years where, apparently, he was even better at blowing shit up.

Outside of the name, do you think this trailer looks that much different from every other prime time crime series? I guess that’s worked for CBS in the past, but you’d like to think this would have a bit more to offer, considering it’s carrying that nostalgic flag.
