“Hout” by 2nd year animation students at the Utrecht School of the Art tells the tale of a retired woodworker who lives in an isolated cabin in the woods. There, he fills the landscape with living wooden animals. And one wooden man.
Told with narration by the creator, the creatures he builds are beautiful. And, in the case of the man, doomed.
