Some details have been revealed about the iQue, Nintendo’s new game console for the Chinese market. We’re finding this a bit hard to believe, but the Register is reporting that the iQue, which will play Nintendo 64 games, is set to retail for under $10. The iQue, which will be contained entirely within a game controller, will come with a memory card which can be used to download new games from special kiosks in stores, with each game costing about $5 or so.
UPDATE: As one reader points out, there’s almost certainly a typo on The Register’s page. The price of the iQue should be more like $70, which certainly makes a lot more sense.
