We spotted them a week ago but the new Slingbox 350 and Slingbox 500 are finally official and they're just as weirdly designed as we expected. Both Slingboxes can stream video to your phone, tablet or computer at 1080p, with the 500 adding built-in Wi-Fi and HDMI and both Slingboxes will spice up your living room.
Just look at the Slingbox 350, the thing looks more like an Olympic stadium with its chain-link exterior than a device that'll stream your cable TV to your smartphone. It's crazy! But the 350 is pretty much the old Slingbox Solo and will only retail for $180.
On the high end is the Slingbox 500, a box that looks warped and twisted and also, crazy. The 500 adds Wi-Fi and HDMI and will squeeze you for $300. A good chunk of change. Both Slingboxes will of course work with the apps you've already downloaded, they'll just delivering higher quality streams now. Slingbox has taken their sweet time in updating Slingboxes, we'll see if it was worth the wait. [Slingbox via SlashGear]
