I don't think I'd want to read books on anything that's not electronic ink. I understand that the iPad demonstrated that people want to do more things with tablets than "read", but if I'm buying an eReader, I'm doing it to read books.
If I want to surf the web or watch movies, or play games... I'll just get a netbook, iPad, or comparable device.
