Speaking of The Greatest Out-of-Print Tabletop RPGs That We Still Love! Wizards of the Coast is re-releasing the legendary “White Box” in a deluxe edition — the very first Dungeons & Dragons set ever, back in 1974 — including the three original rulebooks, along with four classic supplements all in special packaging.

Here’s everything that’s included:
Volume 1: Men & Magic
Volume 2: Monsters & Treasure
Volume 3: Underworld & Wilderness Adventures
Supplement I: Greyhawk
Supplement II: Blackmoor
Supplement III: Eldritch Wizardry
Supplement IV: Gods, Demi-Gods & Heroes
Dice including: 1d4, 4d6, 1d8, 2d10, 1d12 and 1d20
The books will have new cover art, but will keep the classic and charmingly terrible interior art. The box itself is made of actual wood, unlike the original box’s faux wood veneer.
The set will be released on November 19th for $149.99. It’s a bit steep, but since the “White Box” usually sells on eBay for upwards of $500, it could be worse. And besides, take out a single Gnoll, you’ll get Treasure Type D, and then you can buy like eight of these things.
