The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro take off right where the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro did before them, as in they’re super tiny Android phones that pack a little bit o’ punch. Both have 3-inch 320 x 480 screens, 1 GHz processors, 5-megapixel cameras and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. SE did a little dizzy on Gingerbread by adding four customizable shortcut icons to the corners of the screen (which um, makes the small screen even smaller, but whatever).

The Mini Pro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and front facing camera whereas the Mini is all touch and touted as the world’s smallest Android smartphone with HD video recording. They’re both set to launch in August 2011. [Sony Ericsson]
