The Wacom Bamboo Stylus for iPad Might Be The First Good Stylus For the iPad

Illustration for article titled The Wacom Bamboo Stylus for iPad Might Be The First Good Stylus For the iPad

Using a stylus with the iPad is pretty silly! But this Wacom Bamboo Stylus might not be. Not only does it have the Wacom name behind it, but the Bamboo Stylus has a tip (6mm) that's 25% narrower than most other stylii, which should help make the Bamboo Stylus more accurate.

Also! It's supposed to feel like a high-end pen in terms of weight and finish, which should make the writing and drawing motion feel more natural. Or at least better than using a piece of plastic. The Bamboo stylus also work with other capacitive tablets too and will cost $30 when it releases in mid-May. [Technolog]

I long for the day good hybrid capacitive displays allow for a real Wacom pen.
