Reading at a maximum of 95MB/s and writing at 80MB/s, the new Toshiba SDHC UHS-I memory cards are the fastest in the world. Now, good luck finding a camera that can saturate that kind of bandwidth.
Why would anyone want to have such speedy SDHC cards right now is beyond me, but I guess that at least you would be ready for USB 3.0 SDHC readers whenever that becomes the standard (current USB 2.0 tops at 40MB/s).
The new 8, 16, and 32GB memory cards are compliant with the SD 3.0 USH104 standard. Their new 4, 8, and 16GB microSDHC are also the world's first microSDHC cards compatible with the SD 3.0 UHS 50. The microSDHC and 32GB SDHC cards will start production in November, while the 8 and 16GB SDHC will begin getting out of the factories in December.
