You do not want to commit a crime anywhere near the Calgary headquarters of Nexen Energy. That’s because not one, not two, but 542 Batmen work at the building, where they assemble to win the Guinness World Record for “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Batman.”
They won the record, obviously, and a Guinness official was there to make validate it. The event wasn’t just for kicks or to terrify local supervillains; it was the inaugural event for Nexus Energy’s “From Suits to Superheroes” United Way fundraising campaign. These workers also won the record for “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Superman” in 2011, effectively making Nexus World’s Finest Energy Company, I presume.
I’m going to assume crime in the area has also dropped 98%.
