Apple includes some beautiful, really clear wallpapers in the new iOS 4. But they could be better. Thankfully, Jason Kottke has adopted Apple's new art direction and take it even further, crafting this beautiful replacement. I feel better now. [Kottke]

This is outrageous. Not only is it ugly to look at, but I would be unable to tell which icons were actually functional, and which icons were part of the background!
Since I own a macbook pro with an incredibly bright screen for designers, I know all about art, and this is not it!
