There’s no shortage of great, well-designed headphones—but if you have a small face and are slight of build, finding a pair that doesn’t give you a terrible headache after a few songs can be difficult. Earbuds are light and easy, but then you’re left with all that ambiant noise. And many other headphones geared toward the female customer look more like they were designed for someone’s kid sister. Alas!

A Scandinavian company called Molami has an array of gorgeous headphones built specially for the female user. And they’re not pink! Or glittery!

Twine ($200) is “a soft headpiece made of silk-satin and chiffon blends that comfortably wraps around your head—giving you a unique listening experience.” It is a gorgeous style, subtle and elegant. with small adjustable speakers nestled into its fabric. “Twine’s open sound design produces bass that is articulate and clear. The clarity of Twine’s mids and highs are unlike no other, while the distortion is kept to a minimum.”

Pleat ($300) is their more conventional design, with two square over-the-ear pieces connected by a slim ribbon-like band that goes across the top of the head. “Pleat’s closed design incorporates noise isolation and its sound provides low-distortion, allowing you to focus on your music”

Now if only I could make up my mind as to which style I like more… [Molami via FastCoDesign]
