This new Live-action Destiny trailer is 2 minutes of sci-fi hijinks

Destiny, the sci-fi shooter from the makers of Halo, is out next week - so to celebrate Bungie has released this new live-action short featuring a whole lot of action and a whole lot of space magic. Let's dig in, shall we?

The trailer is certainly much less serious fare, considering what Bungie are usually known for with their ads - here's Halo: Reach's 'Deliver Hope' short, for example - but it emphasises the fun and camaraderie of travelling through space, shooting bad monsters. It's less about the epic space opera, and more about the jokes (and also about the Led Zeppelin). Even Peter Dinklage gets to join in one the one-liners!

Destiny is out on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One next Tuesday, September 9th.

I think I might need a next gen system. Though all my friends own an XB1 which is like the one I don't *want*.

I liked the trailer to a point, it must be said. The jovial tone was fun and the 'let's go on rad space adventures' vibe fits the game well, but man did it hit cornball-machismo a bit quick ('Looks like he can say goodbye too!' *ba-dum-tish!*)
