How do you make the beautiful, expensive Leica M9 even more beautiful and more expensive? Why, you add sapphire glass, chrome, and the tanned hide of a brown ostrich. Why does stunning always have to come at such a price?

Specifically, you're going to have to shell out $12,950—about a $6,000 markup over the original M9—for one of these very limited edition Leicas. Although since each camera sold comes packaged with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3, you could just think of it as a $1 camera with extremely overpriced software. [Leica Rumors via UberGizmo]

This is just something that I want to go somewhere and people will think "hahah! Look at his cheap crappy film camera! So old fashioned!" When really it's a 12k awesome camera.

I dunno 'bout the skin though. It doesn't look so classic with it. I think I'd opt for the 6k one as it's also cheaper. So I guess really I'd be walking around with a 6k awesome camera.
