Throwing Ice Grenades Is Only Slightly Safer Than Tossing the Real Thing

We’ve all seen enough movies and war footage to know what happens after you toss a real grenade, but hurling one made from ice really isn’t that much safer. If you get hit with one of these, it’s going to hurt. And if it does explode, it’s going to send ice cold shrapnel flying in all directions.

So the only safe way to use the 4.5-inch long ice grenades that this silicone mold produces is to drop them into a drink and enjoy an explosion of flavor that hopefully obliterates the summer heat for at least a couple of minutes. [Fancy]
