Made in 1972, this strange voice recorder used vinyl plates to store scratchy representations of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” While the quality must have been abysmal, it was probably the coolest toy ever when it first hit Japan’s streets. Look at that industrial design. Seriously, it doesn’t come much better than that.
Apparently its very expensive and very rare and it’s not available on eBay, so sit on your hands and suffer.
