Transformers Pop-Up Book Features Paper Robots That Actually Transform

Matthew Reinhart and Emiliano Santalucia have created what is easily the most impressively engineered pop-up book you’ll ever see. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the iconic Transformers toy line, it not only features pop-up paper versions of Autobots and Decepticons, but many of them also completely transform.

Best Pop-Up Books reviewed the title, and posted a comprehensive page-by-page look at the transformations included from cover-to-cover. If you thought the Transformers toys you grew up with were impressive, remember these are all made of paper, and fold down completely flat.

Transformers: The Ultimate Pop-Up Universe is currently available on Amazon for just $25, which is an absolute steal as far as we’re concerned. Why couldn’t titles like this exist when we were all back in grade school writing book reports? Optimus Prime is far less whiny than The Catcher in the Rye’s Holden Caulfield.
