The official Android Twitter app is something of an oddity, lacking many of the features found in third-party tweeting solutions like Seesmic and the amazing Android TweetDeck. It looks like a much-needed upgrade is on the way, though, with the above video showing what blog Everything Android claims is “Twitter 2.0″—a total redesign which removes the pointless menu page and boots straight to the timeline, so is therefore already better by a factor of ten.
