The NFL is thinking about fining or even suspending Joe Horn, that football player for the New Orleans Saints who in the middle of a game this past Sunday used a cellphone to make a call from the end zone after scoring a touchdown. We’re hoping the official inquiry will answer some of our burning questions, like Who was he calling? and What kind of phone was he using?
UPDATE: So who was he calling? The AP is reporting that he called his family:
Joe Horn had just caught his second touchdown pass of the game, and wanted nothing more than to talk to his family. So he tried to call them — from the end zone. “I had told my kids to be at home, watching the game, and I told my momma, ‘Mom, if I score the second one, I’m going to get my cell phone out,’ ” Horn said.
