Live in an unfortunately located apartment or rural area (or any other cellular phantom zone)? Verizon will let you turn your net connection into 40 feet of 3G. This is still, however, a pricy fix for bad service.

Why is it that people always bitch about having to buy these things? What carrier has EVER promised perfect service?

It amazes me how people bitch about not having cell phone reception here or there, to me I'm with Louis C.K. people should be amazed that they work in as many places as they do, not bitch about the one or two spots that they don't.

Also as far as the "fixing carrier dead spots" argument goes, Were you promised perfect coverage when you signed up for service? No, then shut the fuck up and either pony up and buy something to help you out or stop fucking bitching in the first place.
